Guilloché – an old, traditional craft technique

Since the 17^th century, guilloche machines have been used for this purpose, which have been further developed and modified over the centuries according to new technical findings.

In German you will also find the terms round and straight line machining. in English, the terms are rose engine and straight line engine.
